Hi, very new to the Transit scene, so new in fact I don't own one, yet!
I'm looking to build a service van, so that when we take our Historic rally cars to an event, we have a period service fan to complete the look. Thinking along the lines of a MK1 LWB van, will update the driveline to something a little more modern.
Look forward to learning from everyone here.
Cheers

Welcome mate! I hope you have found the Antipodean section. Plenty of help on there to find the right van

Welcome, are there any LWB vans left out there? I don't recall seeing one for a lng time. I guess I've not been looking either. My van is getting used as a storage vessel and being threatened to be used as a trellis for roses if I don't get back onto it. Let us know how you go and where are you located?

Thanks all for the welcome, found a couple of vans, but the owners seem reluctant to sell, seems a shame to see them sitting being used as storage! i'm based in central victoria, the search continues.

Welcome to the madness Ausrally. Good luck with your search, personally i`d be trying for a MKII van as there are more of them and parts are a lot more readily available. Where are you based if you dont mind me asking? Good luck and i`d love to see a post about your rally cars. Cheers mate Troppo
