Haven't been on here for ages. How are you guys doing? Major rust work completed. Lpg donut tank now under where spare wheel was and spare wheel on bracket mounted behind left back door. Opening quarter vent windows and swivelling front seats. Next job is to replace pin on top hinge on left back door. Too much slop causing difficulty in closing. From my parts book it looks like a pin drops in from the top but on visual inspection and a quick grind l can't see anything. I haven't tried knocking it out from the bottom yet. I thought I'll check in with you guys. It is a 1974 mk 1 with phillip head screws holding hinges on. I thought l might drill a bigger hole and drop a hardened steel bolt in or can l get a NOS hinge? i.postimg.cc/Z5hDc1WK/20210326-133753.jpgi.postimg.cc/rz20WyZT/Tinkydoorpin.jpg

New hinge might be the way to go as l think the hinge itself might be worn. Be interested to see what the pin kits includes. Do the new hinges come with hardware? Also my plastic handle on the bonnet release just broke. Are these available? Thanks Ralph, I've bought from you before. Hugo, Sydney Oz. postimg.cc/z3whKdyB

Excellent, thanks Ralph. I'll buy those. I'm just thinking are there two panels that fit on the inside of the rear quarters to cover the back of the lights? I have the two upper ones but the bottom ones have always been open.

Also do you have the 4 plastic thingos that the bars lock into top and bottom when the handles are turned (back doors)?

Can you get a picture of the inner light cover? Yes I have the plastic lock rod bits, I will get a picture today to confirm we are talking about the same thing.

Yes. Brilliant. I'm thinking of replacing the barn door rubbers. Not the windows but the ones that go around the full rear door x 2. Are they available? Here is picture of the missing lower inside quarter panel. Thanks.

I am waiting for more door seals to come in, that is the only rear corner cover.
