Hey guys,
Have bought what I was lead to believe was a mk2 County, but upon delivery, it turns out the 4x4 conversion was carried out by N.A.M. Specialist Vehicles, in Newton Abbott, Devon.
Has anyone heard of these conversions or has any information about them and how their conversion differs from a County!?
The front axle has spherical swivels similar to an old landrover. The front callipers are also a swine to remove as the bolts undo towards the disc and bottom out.
Any help/info on this would be greatly appreciated.

I have heard of these 4x4 conversions, I think there is quite a bit of info online about them. I believe there is a guy on the Mk1/2 page on facebook who knows the company.

Thanks for that, only things I can find online are old scans of motoring press about their 4x4 A series and “new” mk2 transit conversion?
Ahh…. The dreaded Facebook, a thing I don’t have. Would that fella happen to be on here? Or is there another way I could contact him?
Thanks again Rabb
