Hi I have now got the fuel pump adjusted so fairly clean exhaust when engine is warm (thanks to muttlys help)
But it still smokes more than i would suspect when cold, I can imagine that the engine is quite warn and to expect some but it dosent really clear properly until the temprature is up, it is also more grey than blue. So I was wondering if there is anything else that might be causing it?
To be honest although it has been a fun project over the last few years it was more about having a cheap camper to decide if it was a good idea before spending out on a newer one rather than a transit refurbishment.
Due to one thing or another it has spent nearly as much time off the road as on it, so we have decided to do a bit of tidying up without spending too much then put it up for sale and invest in something newer.
Anyone interested dont forget we are in the south of France😀

Grey smoke is from poor combustion, the York isn't the best when cold so unless its copious amounts I wouldn't worry too much.
