I answer to Muttley's post in "Forum announcements" here is a brief history of my van. It was built as a van at Ford's Southampton factory in February 1975 and registered on the 1st September as a mini bus (as the seats where bench type I think crew bus would have been a better description) I don't know who carried out the conversion, but I suspect it was the supplying dealer. I bought it in March 1981 to tow a racing MG Midget and shortly after converted it into a basic camper.

Andy, it was built in the mid 1970's to compete in the 1150-1500cc class for Modified Sports car's. The original engine capacity was 1275cc but this was ( along with most of the others in the class ) bored and stroked to give 1460cc, it produced 110 bhp at the wheels, which at the time (pre mapped ignition) was very good, wish I still had it.

Cool little car, liking the split Webers, I had a Mini with a borrd and stroked 1275, it had one 45 on a long manifold, stuck where the speedo was😁
