Hello everyone. Following muttleys request for posts. Just thought I would post an update on my Mk2 that I finished restoring in 2017. I have gone to various shows here in ireland with it, but the most use it gets is as a second car. I use it once a week most weeks and it does about 40 miles on these days. I have used it for 3 months solid on two different occasions while trying to get time to repair my car (mercedes 190d). I never planned to use my van this often. Does anyone else use there old transit regularly?

Thanks for the post😊 Thats a lovely looking van you have, driving old motors is not always easy but usually a pleasure. I drive a 22 year old Mk6 with 300’000 miles on it as my working vehicle, I find its a good advert for the business. Keep driving it, thats what its for

It can be a bit too slow for the tailgaters but I like driving it.🤣 Its hard to believe that the mk6 are that old.
I plan to get a different transit to use as a second car and keep the mk2 for shows only.
