Checking around it seems none of my spares lying around from other Fords match the Transit mk2 battery tray, and mine's seen better days.
It doesn't appear there's anywhere doing mk2 trays (unless someone knows better and can point me in the right direction), so how different is a mk3 tray? There's plenty of them on eBay and such.
Thanks.

just to add, petrol and diesel mk2 trays are the same so if you find a scrapper with a clean one on the opposite side to yours its only a matter of drilling out the spot welds and turn the support section 90 degrees to fit on the other side. the tray itself is shaped to fit either side. was a clever design feature.

That's correct, I have done it before. I have also fitted MK3 trays without much modding

Thanks for the input. Ordered a mk3 tray though I actually set out to order a mk5 tray. Don't know what happened there... ;D
