This is going to make a grown man cry I have taken carb and manifold of changed gaskets done all new ignition changed belt and set timing but van still will only run on choke . I have sprayed brake cleaner over all areas looking for air leaks but can't seem to find any . Any ideas guys , picture of carb below

Me again , after a quick conversation with Muttley this morning and an hour under the bonnet this evening I think the issue is now solved

Compression figures and this oil under the bonnet makes me think valve seat ? Any one have a spare head

Hate to bring more bad news but that seems more like rings the oil is being blown out by crankcase compression.
