lowered a transit......
I love our new camper but can not resist getting it a bit lower to the ground. the back seems straight forward by flipping the mounts to the bottom of the axle and mounting on top of the springs. but the front that's a different story. Has anyone ever waved the lowering stick at a transit before?

why do you want to? Have to say that to me unless you go the whole hog with high quality paint and wheels your van could look broken or overloaded and can get you lots of attention from VOSA. Remember some VOSA types dont see a Mk1 or Mk2 as a classic but just as an old van. That said, in the past I have driven a bit heavy and only been stopped once. Up to you......

Way too complicated with the beam axle due to steering angles. I have seen later Transit IFS units fitted and lowered.
