does it smoke all the time or just a mitute or2 on start up,mine smokes on start up after a few minutes it clears,but still a bit fumie,and if water gets in the eghaust it smokes more but runs sound

no mine smokes all the time, seems to be water vapour and fumey. Ive put some Barrs Leak in now, worth a try, but as the Co readings are high this could be a major factor as well for the fumes.

CO is carbon monoxide Dave. The high reading suggests poor combustion / rich mixture. You said your plugs were biscuit colour. Which of the plugs on this page please www.ngksparkplugs.com/tech_support/spark_plugs/faqs/faqread.asp
As far as I can see the steam should be a seperate matter to CO.
Fingers crossed that the Bars sorts your steamer probs.

Yes im in agreement with you now, to me it looked like one problem, but after all this discussion we have established that there are 2 issues and have to be dealt with separately.

hi i park downhill water gets in the tailpipe unless its covered ,but the rain needs to be heavy to get in i now keep it covered up
