Hello,
I've recently acquired a 1972 Mk1 Transit CI Motorhome. Its not in too bad shape and has got a pinto engine in it. Its quite interesting to drive, it feels a bit like you are on a ship!
I haven't had much time to do much on it but have recently replaced all the shock absorbers, to try and help the ride a bit. I am planning on fitting a coil spring assister kit on the back, which should improve the ride and handling.
I am in need of a few parts-the F.O.R.D letters from the front grille and the aluminium/chrome surround that seemed only to be fitted to these CI built motorhomes. If anyone know s where I can get these, then please let me know. I would also welcome any information about the CI built motorhomes.
Thanks
Neil

Welcome mate! Speak to Muttley about assisting the springs, he did something with jonnochap's CI.
