Hello all Martin here, the proud owner of a brand new 1977 transit (I'm guessing mark 1) pop top camper. It does need a little work to get it on the road. Such as reco the motor and transmission to start (or more truthfully said so it will start...) A few seats and maybe look over the brakes. Oh and yes there is a little rust here and there which will need attention prior to a roadworthy certificate so I can get it on the road. Then I may have to start on the camper part which is long gone, it just has the pop top left in it... I will post a photo once I can work out what is stopping it from being attached. I use a Mac so am thinking it is something incompatable happening there. Martin

Welcome Martin, I too have Mk1 camper Kombi. Mechanically I've replaced most including the 4.1 motor. I used Higginbottom but I think they are only in NSW. They are a good time to buy as downunder hasn't followed the overseas price hike yet. I saw a purple one advertised earlier but can't remember where. I find the brakes need to be continuously adjusted otherwise the slave cylinders pop their seals.
