I am David and I own a Ford Transit Bus of year 1972, diesel York 2360cc, 9-seater colour red, but converted to only 3-seater.
I enjoy your forum because I am looking for a little piece inside the starter motor.
Maybe someone can help me :-)

I have put the pictures in the section "Parts wanted".
Yes Ralph, I think you answered me in another forum, but I cannot buy en entire starter since I need only just a little part of it.
My starter will work...but continue to run for some seconds because broken down the brake and the steel pin that moves the brake.
The brake is available on ebay, but I need mostly the pin and maybe who sells me the pin can sell me even the brake.

The pin is just a steel pin. You could use a roll pin of the correct length, or buy a hardened dowel of the correct length and diameter. I know the part you mean, Lucas starter. I used to repair these in a former life:)
