Hi Guys After all the help from you all with stuff I didnt know anything about, its ready for MOT and booked in for the morning It might take him a few days as he is going to fit it in around his other day to day work but I think I have done as much as I can to get it close as possible to going through without too many failure points (fingers crossed) Only thing im not happy with is the brakes. They are very spongy despite repeated attempts to bleed and reverse bleed them. Just cant get them to an acceptable level I can pump the brake 1-2 times and they go hard but when I release, the next pump is soft again Lost the will to live with it so I will leave it to the expert to rectify prior to testing After testing then its over to painting prep Few images below Thanks for all your help guys

Looking good in pics, hope the mot goes well for you. Will they pass it without arches over the rear tyres?

Bull's right, you really should have something over the rear tyres, as you don't have a body. Even a board bolted to the chassis is better than nothing.

Also, the brakes will be silly sharp as there's no weight over the axle. Did you go to the test station sideways ?

No it was all good. This was my first time driving her and the brakes were really soft as I couldnt get them right before I went so I have asked him to look at them Only thing I did notice is that I seemed to have a lot of rumble noise coming from the axle as if there was a failed wheel bearing however I know that they are in good condition My only thought is that I might have over tightened the bearing adjusting nut and not given it enough end float (based on what i have read up on so far as Im not a mechanic)

No mudguards might not be a fail, I know it's not on a hot rod - but running it guard less in wet weather is a construction and use offense. Good luck with the test

C&U regs don't seem to bear relation to the MOT. Odd that.
