The biting point is right at the top a few people say adjust the cable ? I have there is no slack in it how can the cable move the biting point ? Also sometimes as I pull away slow like in traffic the whole van shudders it stops either when pedal is pushed back down or foot is taken right off any ideas ? Rarely I'll pull away foot all the way off and when I put my foot down it revs like mad and barley moves it's done it a few times not often tho there is also a very faint whine when revved up from an idle it's strange coz I assume a bad clutch would mean no wheel spin ? But if I drop the clutch I can easy wheel spin away from traffic lights tho

The whine could be the clutch release bearing. Did you pull the clutch pedal up when you adjusted it?

To check if clutch is on way out take it to a hill you know it struggles to climb in higher gear, drive up hill with revs low in high gear when vans just ticking along and you need to rev to climb hill, the revs should slowly rise with speed, not over rev, then slow when van catches up with gear/speed,if it overrevs your clutch is starting to slip. Juddering on take off is sometimes to do with engine and/or gearbox rubber mounts going, which is easy to do if your traffic light king in most older vehicles.

I normally have to use 1st to get up hills in higher gears it bogs down and feels like it will stall I always end up using 1st gear yes pedal was pulled up

Try a gentler long hill(big single/duel carriage way type),so your doing 30 ish rolling into bottom of it,so about quarter of way up van will virtually be on tickover in top,so that when you accelerate the van should just chug up the hill accelerating slowly, revs slowly building with speed(foot off clutch). If the engine sounds as if it's reveling higher, and speeds not increasing, but revs are then your clutch is slipping.

I find I need to push clutch back down wait few seconds then lift it back up then it seems to work again but yea sometimes it feels as tho I'm doing a wheel spin when I'm actually not also 0-60 is stupidly slow does not seem to accelerate
