Failed on a track rod end and front wheel bearings, but passed everything else by a mile, well inside the parameters. Body perfect they said.
Booked in for repair thursday

:-) It failed well . I'm really chuffed , the brake imbalance has been troublesome to me before but this time it was nowhere near the limits.

Brake imbalance. That's always the scary one.

looks hunky without his hubcaps doesn't he. Yes I'm confident that I'll keep him for the next three years (this CVRT and the next two year one)
Unless I find a replacement. I did look around the market but there's just a pile of overpriced shite out there for the money Duck would make.
The Capri might as well sit in the garage too, it's only going to go up in vlaue and I get pissed off at people wanting a show car for little money and then making up faults to try and drive down the price.
PS I got to see a Cortina too , twice.... I wonder if there is any other Cortina in daily use in Ireland? I doubt it
