cant feel any side to side play but there is quite a bit of up and down. so whats the limit and how is it measured ? also anyone have some good tips or info on changing them ? i have a new set so plan to change both sides soo as i have the time and the weather on my side.

Lift can be taken out with shims. They would have to be very bad to fail the MOT

they feel quite bad and the van does bang quite a bit on the front end when going over bumps whats the best way to remove them ? heat hammer drill ect ?

For the banging, check the shock absorber bushes and gearbox mounts. The best way to remove old kingpins is to take the axle to an engineering company that has a press.

Fitted new shocks gearbox mounts are ok
