Today I've swapped out the resister/regulator on the back on my clocks on my '85 2.0 manual. Thankfully both the fuel and temp gauges now work correctly. However, I now have new questions for the experts... On the bottom right of the clocks is a bank of warning lights: Far left looks like some sort of compressor icon, followed by handbrake, then something green with arrows and finally a choke icon. Thing is I've had the dash apart and there's absolutely no bulbs anywhere to slot into this display. Can anyone confirm what these are? As far as I can see the only one that I know I'd need is the handbrake warning. Second is the switches to the left of the gauges: It appears someone has thought to use the same switches for everything. The only one that actually seems to do anything is the hazard switch. What should be in these spaces? I'd have thought heated rear glass (though I don't have it in a camper) and a foglight switch maybe?

The one bottom right warning light should be for the brake fluid level indicator. The dash switches are all fog light switches! The correct one is above the hazards. You could have an interior light, our custom minibus does, its above the fogs.

Cheers for the reply Fred.
Well the bottom right brake fluid light obviously isn't there as there's no bulb for it, but that won't be too big a job to try and trace some wires. Presumably the other 3 lights aren't needed on mine anyway.
Those switches to the left I think I'll remove too if they're not necessary except for sorting a foglight switch. I guess some blanking plates will also join the wanted parts list too...

There is a brake fluid lamp, low vacuum warning (diesel), choke lamp (option) and a flame start lamp (diesel). Keep all the switches and find things to connect them to ;D
