Are there any recommendations on here for a company for classic campervan insurance?
I currently have a policy with Adrian Flux for my Cortina's and Capri so it's easy enough for me to ask for it to be added, except in this case I want the Mrs to be able to drive the camper too whereas she can't with the others.
Is it a case of the usual suspects?
Carole Nash Adrian Flux Footman James etc etc
Cheers.

Try NFU, National farmers union. I think they have a website as NFU Mutual Fred recommended this too, but it's a complete no-go. They'd never heard of a Ford Transit Auto-Sleeper model and didn't even have my registration on their system. He was almost adamant it must have been a home conversion. From there they wanted it's exact weight (luckily in the V5) and it's exact length, plus loads of other details. They then said the underwriters won't take the 'risk' on while I have no other business with them? I guess a clean license, driving for over 20 years, and never having an insurance claim against me is a big risk. ;D Footman James have provided a quote no problem but it's a bit on the steep side I think. Will try my current provider Adrian Flux and Heritage tomorrow.

After some discussion my current provider changed their approach. At first they said the Transit couldn't go on the policy with my other classic Fords, so I cancelled to go with Footman James who would do all on one policy at a decent price. They then came back and magically found a solution! So, Adrian Flux for 2 Cortina's, Capri, and Transit is £340 for all fully comp with the Mrs to drive too. Happy enough.
