You can use the gauges from a MK4 or 5 Cortina, they have a rev counter

Right here goes , have got a late mk3 /early mk4 dash pod . Thought in fords wisdom it would be plug and play , silly of me really , after looking at both pods and moving all the pins about I have everything working except the high beam light which I think is a bulb issue and the rev counter its self . The rev counter obviously has a 5 pin(only 4 in use ) 2 are used for the clock lights and the other 2 for the rev counter . The issue I have is I can't find my cortina haynes as its been 16 years since I last had a mk5 . Does any body have a manual that can check or does any body now which to wires to input is it just a ground and a positive from the coil . Cheers jon
