Dear all, troublesome puk is playing around again, new wheel bearings fitted and new track rod arm on order, but investigations have also identified that the clutch cable cannot be set properly as the plastic restraining device at the back of the pedal has been mullered by previous nightmare owner. Has anyone got one? Know where to get one? Ever fitted one? Starting to sound like the Heater box needs to come out to repair!

if its the same as the Mk2 you can replace it quickly. Is this the plastic thing at the top of the pedal? If so its the same as the cortina. Sorry I dont have a spare though........

Is it the self adjusting thing like they had on the Sierra's? If so a screwdriver and zip ties can be your friend

It's a little red plastic horse shoe shaped retainer that holds the metal pin in the pedal. I may have one, I will have to look.
