G`day folks Long time no post i hope this is in the right section, I need help (even my shrink says so lol) i was driving my van down the highway doing 90 kmh and the bonnet flew open and now has the rear corners all bent up. I know i saw a post where this had happened to someone else and was wondering if there was any tricks or easy ways to straighten out the bonnet. Cheers folks Troppo

i do Fred, but the spring lock didnt force it down enough. Probably as much my fault as anything, i just want to get it sorted and i can remember someone having the same problae and saying it was an easy fix, i was hoping they could share the trick

Most of the damage is usually a result of the hinge mounting pulling down away from the rest of the bonnet, have a good look there
