your vans gross weight is 3100kg. The next number down is the gross train weight when towing. Anybody can drive the van as its under 3500kg.

Right , I think I'm going to change to the 2.5di as the I'm only getting about 18mpg on petrol or LPG and the LPG produces less power than the petrol and the LPG tank is currently in the van and the time and money spent re-sighting the tank under the van and replacing the 10 plus year old lpg tank .anyway I need to find a donor van what sort of things do I need to look for and how much work is really involved

its not too bad. The donor van is the way to go. you need
engine rad mounts (may be able to use yours not sure)
think about going for an MT75 at the same time
MT75 gearbox propshaft
you need to cut a hole in the floor to the right of the original. If your pinto is OK can I have first dibs on it?

Easily bypassed is the immoboliser, get a lump with a Bosch pump not the Lucas EPIC set up, i'll ask for Fred, who much for the Pinto and LPG kit?

I just have to find a donor van with a Bosch pump. As for the engine not long bought it from Muttley so it can be had for what it cost me as for the lpg not really looked at the resell but I would of thought £250 would be a far price

LWB 6 stud axle van had the most ponies as standard if you can find one but they are all pretty easy to mess with, its only the pump and injectors that are different...
