hi I have been offered a 5 speed gearbox it's an mt75 comes with mount etc anyone know if it's an easy fit or is it a bit involved

It's an easy fit but you need will need a suitable prop and the crossmember will need modifying.

you will need
gearbox MT75 crossmember front prop section as its bolt up to the box
if fitting up to a pinto you need an adapter plate, it bolts directly to the DI.
You also need to cut a new hole in the floor to the right of the original, as the gear lever comes through the floor in a different place.
Its well worth a bit of effort.

No idea why my phone posts everything the Times sorry.... I think we are going to bin the pinto and go for a diesel this winter what's the difference between a di and a banana manifold engine?

Don't quote me but I believe it is just the manifold , I'm going to ditch my pinto as well this winter and fit the DI . May even slap a turbo on it as from what I have read that's an easy conversion

Both fit , you need the Bosch manual pump to run on veg oil
