Hi can anyone help me I want a few pictures/dimensions etc of a genuine front spring hanger, im planing on fabricating some as they seem to be extinct. I could also do with the dimensions of the front cross member to fabricate some of those to. I need to fabricate some for my recovery truck to but if it helps others keep there vans on the road I will do a batch of them. I know the mk3 ones can be cut up to make something simlar but was going to try and do some to close as genuine as possible.

Ive since googled transit mk2 spring hangers and there are lots of rusty ones on there! That has give me an idea of shapes etc. Ive also sourced a mk3 one to take measurements off just need to look at what ive got to change for it to be near as dam it a mk2 one. We need more panel availability for the mk2 as stocks are fast drying up stopping people keeping there vans on the road. Ive got a chassie cab sill to copy but could do with more. Heres some lancia delta panels that I do so you can see my work(sills, rear roof section, rear valance:

I've now purchased a genuine ford crossmember and early front headlamp radiator support panels. I'm hoping to be reproducing these as close to oe as possible soon if anyone is interested. I've also started doing hillman avenger/sunbeam panels as well as my Lancia stuff. I really could do with a good picture and some measurements of the front closing panel to the crossmember as I'm sure they have some pressing lines in them??
