Hi All
I have recently bought a MK2 LWB, fancied one for a while and then this came along so had to happen. It has been standing for about 10yrs so will need a bit of re-commissioning, but spent most of its life near Rome, Italy so not as rusty as some. Haven't had a Transit before so still getting my head around where to get panel and parts. Will try and give regular updates and figure out how to do photos.

welcome mate! If you want to convert to RHD its a far easier job on the Mk2 than it is on the M1. As for pics, you can upload them directly from your computer to the forum. Look for the Attachments button top right of the full reply box (not the quick reply)

Thanks guys Yes it was on ebay a few weeks ago, but the guy who had it didn't really want to sell it just too many projects and not enough time. Here it is in all its beige glory. It isn't too rusty but there is the usual steps and front floor to do. I have managed to get the 'Di' engine started but it ticks over only, wont rev. First stop is to change fiters etc and see what heppens then

Hi, and welcome. Good luck with sorting her out, sounds like it won't be too big a job - but then, as ever, there are always nasty "surprises" along the way! lol
