Hello Everybody, I am the very proud third owner of a 1983 Mk2 Transit Autohome Deluxe named Dolly by the original owner, who has kept a log of all mileages, destinations, fuel and oil consumption. This has been kept up by the other previous owners and now myself. The body work is in reasonable nick and I need to touch up a couple of spots soon. Fortunately the main camper body is aluminium. I have developed a leak in my fuel hose between the filler hole and the petrol tank. My local garage tried to locate one via the main dealer without any joy. He suggested that I try searching on the net. I have done so but without success. I wonder if any Transit Forum member knows where I might locate the hose. Cheers Mike

welcome mate! Is this specific to the camper manufacture or a standard Ford part? Could the neck be repaired if you get it off?

Welcome mate. Post a picture if you can of the part you need so we know exactly what you want. Filler necks do vary a bit between various models so it'll make identification easier. Get some photos of your van up as well

I do not know if ford part, but it looks right and fits properly. There are two bends in the hose; one where it exits the filler hole and the second where it enters the fuel tank. It has split on the bent where it enters the tank, and it looks to have done so at the point where the lip of the tank is. I'll search ebay for a stainless steel one. You don,t happen to know what the internal diameter is do you Bobdragon12 ? I have not got the part off yet, but hope to do so this weekend and Illl post photos and measurements. Many thanks to all who have replied. It's great to know you're not on your own!!!
