Well it's rained and I haven't had an indoor pool on top of the dash, 3M windscreen sealer seems to work!
Would like to hang onto the windows I think in case I ever sell

Interesting, I've never seen windscreen sealer. I just thought the new rubber seal done the trick but seems everyone still has issues. Did you just gun it around the lip before you put in the glass and seal? I thought the chrome strip tightens it all up and seals it.

Didn't take the glass out just used the nozzle to inject it as deep into the seal as I could, I used a screwdriver to pull the lip back so I could get sealer right down into the bottom

Looks like the Captain Tulley's Creeping Crack cure has worked for Alex. Took two applications though.

The van looks to be coming on nicely.
Keep up the good work.

Got some new Euroliners!!! Only got the fronts fitted though because I want some longer thread extenders making for the rears, the supplied ones are ok but would prefer a little longer.... Doing 70ish miles a day at the moment going to and from work. Going to be ever such low mileage soon Screen is leaking again - poxy thing, at least its not soaked the replacement CB again. In other news I've got a TPS megajolt so I can play with timing curves etc and I'm putting the parts together to get it running, also converting to a flat poly belt rather than the existing v belt, got the main pulley with trigger wheel attached but it needs machining to suit. Got an EDIS 4 and plug but just need coil pack and mount and crank sensor and mount and the associated plugs, breakers wanted a fortune (well more than I could buy new ones for without plugs) so if anybody has a dead ford going for frag locally I can pillage please let me know Also underway is installing a lamda feedback system to control the LPG, not sure how successful this will be but I had all the bits anyway so nothing to lose.

I like the Euroliners, but the rest of your post seems to be written in Martian...

Sorry Fred, should have explained better, megajolt is a programable at home box to control the sparks provided by a ford control unit (EDIS4) which takes a signal using a crank sensor from a toothed wheel on the front pulley and uses basically any coil pack from something modern. It's basically so I can alter the ignition advance curves to suit modern petrol or in my case LPG depending on the revs and how far open the throttle is (detected via a throttle position sensor - TPS)
Lambda control basically looks at how weak or rich the engine is running and increases or reduces the amount of fuel going in to correct it.
I'm swapping the fan belt from a v belt to a flat one with longitudinal ribs so I can drive a supercharger at a later date.
I think I could do with some more punctuation in there somewhere but that's the basic idea.
Oh and I've gone a bit deafer due to a cold so I found myself cruising along at 70 on the motorway yesterday. Oops don't want to be doing that for too long!

What sort of trigger wheel are you using

I've got one on a front pulley from a Zetec Fiesta, hopefully I should be able to have the pulley machined to suit the Pinto crank and keyway once i've worked out exactly the location for the crank sensor.

I might have a spare crank sensor bracket to fit the pinto. I just need to remember where i put it.

Not a lot to report really. I noticed it was running warmer than normal so I've swapped to a 82 degree thermostat QTH371 which has helped a lot, fitted a new set of plugs, re crimped the 2 plug leads that fell apart rather than come off! Fitted a new rocker cover gasket as there was an oil slick down the back of the engine so hopefully that's sorted now!
Put some rad flush through it as although the rad looks new it's a bit scaley inside.
While the cam cover was off I noticed a chunk out of the cam belt! Need to pick up a new belt and tensioner now
It's all gone quiet from the bloke who had the o/d box and bits so that's on the back burner again as I don't want to spend more than a MT75 and bits would cost.
