I have to admit this is a bit of a lazy post but it's probably quicker to ask than to drag out the haynes manual . Going to finish pluming in the DI tomorrow and have to wire the alternator which has 2 wire One has to be the battery light the other must charge the battery, does anyone know which is which . Also the pinto starter has 3 wires 1 to bat 1 is ignition and a 3rd . The DI only has on 2 connectors . Does anyone know what the 3rd on the pinto starter does? Thanks in advance jon

I would think the charging wire on the alternator should be the thickest one, the warning light only draws a couple of amps at most so can be quite thin wire

Alt wiring terminals should be different sizes too.
