Help I've sprung a leak & I want to know if there are any alternative radiators or do I need an origional for my 1980 Mk2 Transit camper.

My mk2 2.0 is running a Toyota one, already fitted on purchase along with the standard rusted Ford one. I presume the previous owner had a similar problem but somehow they knew (or knew a person that knew) alternatives as it fits the original hoses. It's a more modern dual core high flow type and all I've had to do was create better securing brackets.
I can see if it has a part number as that will tell us what motor its from, if you want, and get a couple of pics up?

That doesn't read right - it doesn't have 2 rads, just that the old one came with the van too.

just a financial word of caution. Anything labled Mk2 escort will be loads. Maybe a re core might be the answer.

Thanks for the heads up Fred. I hope I have the problem solved as I've (fingers crossed) found one on fleabay for £30. Says it's new origional in Ford packaging, just hope it's not a scam. I've used PayPal so hopefully all will be well.

Brand spanker just arrived. Radiator for my 1980 Transit camper in origional Ford packaging. Very dusty & comes complete with it's own spider for £30 on eBay. Very happy bunny here.
