I'm not great on the phone, my hearing is pants... I'll vouch for that. We had a few beers at the Cortina show last year and I think you spent most of our chat saying "what?". Either that or you couldn't follow my Lancashire accent lol.

Might have been given a bum steer here. I looked at my springs and I think that the leafs aren't broken, it's the way they are made to fit round the centre clamp. The main leaves are fine, it's the lower leafs (which seem to be helpers ,rather than part of the spring itself , fitted outside the main leaf) that were suspect. SO I have a set of springs spare now....you live and learn.

My new bits )(obviously I didn't get the spring hangers as well as the cross member) € 690 spent on them . My wife didn't even leave me....
