well i went out to the old girl an hour or so ago and i think i'm gonna give up on her.not because of the rust as that can be replaced and it not as bad as i thought on the chasis but for the following reasons.the irish weather absolutely p's me off for days or weeks it's raining and umpredictable then take day it's so bloody hot even at 5/6 o'clock that anything don't go right it pees me right off.the piece i knocked up for the end of the chasis don't fit/line up and i broke my homemade sheet bender.if the weather carries on like this i'm gonna struggle to get much done at all and any exposed metal is only gonna get worse and then we are back to square one with the council in 10 months time. i have someone that might be interested in her but out of curiousity how much does a lwb minibus weight and what is scrap worth at the moment(it's ok only want to gauge a value)
aussiebob: Hi Conrod all the best for 2019 the strips look the part please let me know when you have sorted out the final details with them and i will arrange payment for a set. Regards
