Must have been a leaky old barn Stoney, judging by the green stains on it. Before you go ahead, I suggest you check the wood frame very carefully. Then check out some vintage caravan sites to see what's involved in a rebuild.

Dont worry, I know all about that lol looking inside her it looks like the roof is about to cave in! I may well go have a look at her and if the chassis is good I would be very tempted.

The walls go the same way Stoney. I've seen water dripping out the bottom of motorhome walls after a few cold nights during dry weather.
What engine will you put in it?

its gone too high for me now anyways I reckon, might go a little more but Im short on cash and already have enough projects!
I would probably go for a 2.5di as I have a few and I have a cab back that would go in it then make it into a pickup or recovery maybe even a luton box.
as for the walls I know exactly what you mean, I stripped all the interior out of my mk1 camper and replaced a lot of the woodwork and insulation and that was in a van with no visible water ingress.

Sorry it's gone over your price Stoney.
Yes, wet rot without leaks.
What you see on the single glazed windows in the morning is what you could see on the inside of the ally sheet if you had x-ray eyes Stoney. Once the water condenses there it's the devil's job to get it out.
If you re-frame anything else, make sure you line with polythene over the top of the insulation and under the board you put on the inside.
